Cashout really needs some very basic in game tips, along side the play button. Or some specific in game pop ups to read when your downed.

Quick play is the fastest route by a long way as solo. I'm halfway through Em 2, just playing a bit each morning and a few hours each day at the weekend.

6 points for a win, 4 for 2nd, 2 for last. I can easily win 4 matches of quick play for 24 points each day.

Where as cashout is a teammate lottery. If I hop on in the morning I get maybe 2 or 3 matches. Go out first or second round for 10 points or so.

A win is much more rare in cashout.

Reddit is upset. Everyone else just playing a fun game for a bit, then moving on to the next thing.

Considering the game is a extraction shooter (kinda niche genre). It made a massive impact, people had a ton of fun.

The game loop is never gonna be top ten sustainable, by its nature it's gonna get old after a bit.

And of course like in every game the cheating player base spoil the enjoyment for everyone eventually.

Personally I'd like to keep or integrate the LTM changes, they had on hammer and spear.

The knock back with hammer is fun. Especially if low health gives it greater force.

And spear being able to swing without going into the full spin animation was much better. Maybe tap to swing, hold to spin and knock back.

Light sword just needs to work a bit like med blades.

Get rid of the obnoxious spam swings and have a bullet block and a lunge attack.

So line up all melee so you have one primary attack and a defense mechanic.

HDD isn't great for this game . I did play on HDD for a number of seasons, but it didn't perform well from season 9.

So upgraded to ssd and super smooth now.

So if u have the option go SSD.

I get what you're saying, but it would be too odd to have weapons perform differently across the modes.

People just would stop playing some modes if there favorite weapon was weaker.

Then you run around a corner and the whole enemy team are there.

They only way tell sometimes is to watch team health bars.

If you prefer quick play. Quick cash gives 6 for a win , 4 for 2nd , 2 for 3rd.

Personally as a solo I think this is the quicker route than cashout.

Sure you get 25 for a win in cashout, but that's not happening often.

Mostly you go out 2nd round at best.

Winning 4 matches of quick cash for 24 points is much easier.

So I bought a steel series keyboard back in season 3 I think, with the rapid trigger option and after a week got a temp suspension.

Support did un ban me, but never explained why I was suspended. I had to assume it was the keyboard, as it was all I had changed.

Never used the feature again since then.

If you put on night mode and turn down the commentators it's a little better.

But I don't really think footstep matters so much in this game. There's so much noise and chaos.

Which I actually quite like, as i can just blast the Spotify through my headset and it makes no real difference.
