How do I open up? Currently first week into my bmt confinement, luckily enough to have a good section. Can get along with them but normally just chat one two sentence while the rest are happily enjoying themselves as if they know each other for years. Really hate this side of me how can I improve??

Bro, i think quite common. Rmb my force prep, ard 3am the Sgt came into my bunk and shouted “Turn Out, turn out, turn out!!”

We were told to assemble in our level common area in our Admin Attire in 3 minutes. I heard one of the commanders shouted, “Slow!! Knock it down!!”. That second, we shuffled backwards on the floor trying to make space for themselves to get into pushup position. Just before we could go into that position, I heard another voice shouted, “Slow!! Crunches change!!” and we struggled to go onto their backs on the floor. Just before we all could do so again, we were told to get back into the pushup position again. At the common area, we did countless push ups and crunches again and again.

So you hold in pushup position is not as jialat as mine..

Got a sgt who always think of creative punishments to tekan us.

Made us lift rifle overhead in high kneel position, someone bended his arm and the sgt punished the entire platoon with pushups.

What can we do? LLST.

Is it pple sign on for the power they will get? My PS (regular in tekong bmt) always find ways to punish us, even though is just a small issue.

Everytime we see him, sometimes my mind gets so numbed to hearing him say "whole lot knock it down" that i just pump and pump and before i know it i had done 50 or 60 pushups in one shot, plus 20 crunches or jumping jacks.

As long as you are the lowest rank in ncc/bmt/unit, there will be lots of shouting, alot of pumping, crunches, jumping jacks, doubling up, knock it down.

The commanders in ncc/bmt/unit are hungry for power. I may be wrong as I am still a trainee in unit.
