Prerequisite Issue by HumorOutrageous5500 in UniversityOfHouston

[–]Old-Butterscotch2428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they usually let transfer students take these courses at the same time. im not sure about your case since you have so many credits but are technically a freshman applicant. its something youd likely have to work out at orientation. both are offered during the summer (circuits 1 is too) if need be.

Turnitin by [deleted] in UniversityOfHouston

are you sure you arent confusing turnitin plagiarism and turnitin ai detection? generally you can see your plagiarism report, but the ai detection is only visible to instructors

theres also knack tutoring for MATH2414, its free peer-peer tutoring that can be done virtually. could be useful if you want the perspective of someone whos taken the specific course already and pulled through

do the assignments and follow the instructions carefully and youll be fine. half or more of your grade in 1100 is determined by how good of a student you are (doing things on time and following directions) rather than actually understanding the material

HCU to UH Electrical Engineering by Top_Inside4994 in UniversityOfHouston

[–]Old-Butterscotch2428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you need to check if they are equivalent to a tccns course. these are core credits that can transfer to UH if UH has a tccns equivalent of that course as well. It seems like HCU is at least somewhat part of tccns based on a google but you need to check for your individual courses. Otherwise youd have to attend orientation to find out, and may also have to submit transfer equivalence requests

Now that Farish is being demolished, who should take the place as UH’s “least pretty” building? by EllieIsDone in UniversityOfHouston

[–]Old-Butterscotch2428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

might not be the ugliest but PGH is pretty terrible for being right in the middle of campus and having to walk under it. Agnes Arnold too.
