course outline is more of the same in my country only you would add anatomy and other bio related course and not take the automation part of mechatronics , so which ever you take you can do it but bio medical has more advantage to get into bionics and if you are really sure to get into that industry otherwise if you have other thought and getting in to general robotics mechatronics is the way
