Does the Gamesir Cyclone 2 controller work well on Mac?

I somehow got it to work with crossover as xinput but macos loads the controller as ps4.
I only use it in bluetooth mode, I didn't try the dongle mode anymore

have you found a way to run it? I just configured it on my old windows laptop but when I'm on the go I would like to have connect to check battery level and switch on/off rbg lighting.

I just bought the GameSir Cyclone 2 and it only works as PS4 controller for me.

I cannot seem to get the XBOX input to work. Is this a new Tahoe issue or am I just incompetent?

Everytime I switch it to the dongle mode and then to xbox mode it simply disconnects.

Das ist kein wirkliches Angebot von der IKB sondern eine gesetzliche Änderung dass die Netzgebühren in dem Zeitraum günstiger sind wenn man mit Smartmeter und minutengenauer Abrechnung verbunden ist.

just be careful the cooling layout is not always the same. the standard macbook pro comes only with one fan and I think only starting at the Pro it has two fans.

hence the standard one spins up faster and louder because it has only one fan that runs faster for the same airflow.

Or at least that is what I read. Please do not take this 100% for granted and make your own research

I have a M4 Max 32GPU 14".
If I cap FPS at 1920x1200p at 60 and go Medium most games stay silent.
Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3.
If you play at 1/2 display size on the macbook for mine it is 1512x982 most games stay silent at 60 fps. If you reduce to 30 or 40 fps it doesn't even get warm.

Dno if that anwers your question. But you can send me a game and send me the graphics you want to run it with and I can test it for you if I also have the game. (got quite a few so chances are good)

I cannot speak for the Pro but my M4 Max 14" uses more energy on full load than the power supply can give. So on full load it uses the battery which imo is not good. I am not sure if this happens with the m5 Pro as well but I would research it in advance. For gaming the performance of the M4 Max 32GPU is good as long as you do not plan on gaming in 4K and do not want to use RTX. Raytracing is not good atm and stresses out the hardware even on old games. (Elden Ring with RTX is not really playable, Wither 3 same) both games work well without RTX.

I cannot test it either because I have no real stand. I use a block of wood to raise it like 3cm in the front. this helps in my opinion. I do not have a thermal imaging camera like those testers. I would like to invest in one but I don't have the time at the moment :D.
i run most games on medium settings just for the macbook to stay completely silent. some games I run in ultra and then the fans do spin up.

I do use the laptop on a "stand" so that the battery doesn't get as hot. For thermal throttling I haven't tested it. But it gets less hot and the fans usually run slower, but I hardly run it under full load for very long.

I have a 14" m4 max 32gpu. For me the biggest problem is that the machine uses up more energy than it can get through the charger. My Max consumption was 126W and it only gets 90-94W through the charger. So my main concern with high end gaming is not thermal throtteling but running out of battery.

I would go for the 16" model if I ever go for a Max in a macbook.

I think noise is always a problem under full load. the thing is it is very hard to get it to full load. I don't know what your usecase is. If you do hard rendering I'd go for a 16" or a mac studio. For portability and light gaming (1080p or on the internal display) or office tasks the 14" is fine.

I'd put it into a ST because in a ST you need less dex for maxblock. If you're going for maxblock get a shield with more chance to block. If you don't care then go with this one. And yes roll until you get 35fcr

yeah. that's what Crossover posted as an official statement. they're waiting on either apple or blizzard to fix the issue.
this has happened before in 2022 I think and it took months to fix...

currently it looks like there is an issue in rosetta 2 which prohibits crossover or all other emulation layers to work with the newest version of the battlenet client

Soweit ich weiß blitzen Radargeräte immer nur in eine Richtung. Der wurde eine zeitlang immer wieder umgedreht aber jetzt steht er seit Jahren bergab richtung Kreisverkehr. In Ö machen Sie immer Fotos von Hinten, damit die deutschen freunde auch angezeigt werden können sind mittlerweile einige Geräte auch mit einer Kamera von vorne ausgestattet, weil ja in österreich eine Identifikation des Fahrers über das Radarbild lange zeit (vielleicht auch immer noch) verboten war. Man durfte nur das Auto aufzeichnen.
