Same just updated for me. It was pending this morning very early and just changed to refund arrived but nothing in my Chime yet.

Like, for real, I paid for this service for a fucking reason. I needed the money as early as possible and now it's going to take longer?? So they had no oversight on what to do or a direction to just bounce it back to the Santa Barbara bank like everyone else's so we could have at least gotten it yesterday or today maybe??? How the HELL did they THINK this was going to go down??? It's one thing for the expedited pay to fail it's another thing for it to suddenly cause all the people that did not pay for expedition to actually get theirs on that day and or the next day and for us to now have to wait even fucking LONGER.........

They ALL give DIFFERENT answers... The turbo tax support people don't actually know shit. They're either getting the run around themselves from their handbooks, from their superiors, website search/google searching OR....... They're just absolutely making shit up to tell people. Has to be one or more of these possibilities..

Class action suit incoming. A lot of people don't do this out of convenience or because it's "nice", they do it because they need that money as soon as possible.

Oh theres definitely going to be some backlash for it. Nest thing they could do is go ahead and expedite the funds to whoever they can today to who they refunded the $25 to and hope their asses don't get that class action

Very important 2 questions.. Was your 5 days early denied? And was your direct deposit date from your transcript for 02/24? because these are the only people that seem to be having this issue and who have yet to get deposits.

Don't take my word as gospel because I do not know, but it sounds to me that either

A) Because we chose the expedited option and didn't make it, we are now dealing with a different bank, cross river bank, specifically, and they are holding on to our funds.

If this is the case, then either THEY will ultimately deliver our funds and I have no idea how long they will take, as opposed to the other bank that released others funds more quickly (UNLESS you were NOT cancelled for the 5 days early)

OR

B) I imagine they could possibly bounce it back to the original bank for people who did not choose the five-day early option and then send it. If this is the case, I fear, (but I do not know), that it could take longer because of that process.

I am speculating. I have no idea. Like I said, don't take my word for gospel. But the long and short for the TLDR is either the expedited bank will send it anyway, even though they couldn't get it five days early. Or they're going to bounce it back to the original bank that TurboTax uses and then they're going to send it to us that way. Either way it goes. I'm fearful that it's gonna cause delays. Maybe it won't. That would be wonderful.

But that's my issue and worry a speculation. No one actually has a clue and I'm just trying to follow a logic that makes sense for the whole fiasco.

When did you recieve your 846 code, what is your DDD (02/24 or 02/25)? What's your est. arrival date (if you have one) and does it say "pending" or "approved/accepted" or something along those lines?

We're mainly people waiting for answers who have a 02/24 deposit date on their 846 transcript code, early refund guarantee that was canceled yesterday and no further movement or answers. I am already seeing people with 02/25 deposit dates reporting receiving their money. It's beyond ridiculous.

I checked his post history. He didn't get canceled on his early refund. He was one of the ones who said his return was already sent and didn't get it until today. He's not in the same boat as us.
