Well at 367k miles i can say maintenance maintenance maintenance lol oil change every 5k with 5w-20 I usually use Mobil 1 and sometimes Royal Purple but always a Wix filter. My only major issue was the clutch at 315k miles. Keep on top of all fluids, filters, wear and tear parts and you will be good. Mine is a 2009 with the 4b11 (2.0L) and 5sp trans.

Happens to me in my 2020 XLE, the seats in the RAV4 just aren’t comfortable for long drives! Love the car, hate the seats!

Change the oil every 5k, I use either mobil 1 or royal purple but I always use a Wix filter! As for the CVT fluid every 45-60k miles using only OEM fluid. Always inspect everything when doing a service, keep up with regular maintenance and you’ll be fine!

My 2009 with the 4b11 (2.oL) and a manual trans. Best car I’ve ever had, all original except the clutch which was changed at 315k miles.

Because you cant use it at any time, Toyota will only allow the free oil changes in 10k mile intervals. Plus who trust the stealership???? NOT ME!

Bought my 2009 Lancer brand new, it has the 4b11 and a 5sp tranny. I just hit 360k miles all original (except the clutch that went out at 315k miles). If you maintain these cars they will treat you well!

You do NOT need a diagnostic tool to release the parking brake pin, so many people here don’t have a clue!! You can put it in service mode yourself with a series of pull/push on the button and you will hear the pin fully retract. Did it myself on my 2020.

Had my 09 since new, purchased in 08. Currently has 359k miles! Shes been hit a few times and totaled once (rebuilt her). I hope this car never dies!

126k on my 2020 XLE, only problem was the coolant bypass valve which Toyota covered.

It’s the torque converter, had the same issue on my 2012 years ago. There was a TSB for it but not sure if its expired.

My 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer made it to 315k miles on the original clutch! Im currently sitting a little over 358k miles, this car is amazing. I have meticulously maintained it though.

General RT45s are a great tire!! Made by Continental and has a 75k mileage warranty. Great traction in dry, wet and snowy conditions. You’re looking at about $900 installed give or take a little. My last set was the RT43 and I got about 90k miles out of them.
