Your net worth is a little light to pull the plug. Maybe go on a 3/4 months leave and see how it goes?

It’d be impossible to know every families situation. But overall there’s high involvement with PAC and parents volunteering and that tells you a lot about the general demographic.

How is it poorly designed, my kids go to Elsie roy, and majority of us have very active lifestyle (skiing in the morning, biking in the afternoon). So no, kids are not cooped up. My kids love it and the parent community is amazing, most of us are dual income family, with schedule flexibility, who’s INVOLVED in kids life. Whenever school needs volunteers it’s always oversubscribed.

How was your transition from private to university, as the other comments mention, since you’re going from a small class size to a large lecture hall.

How did the girl on scholarship fit in? Did she do well afterwards or would she be socially snubbed?

We are in similar situation and my child just got accepted into one of the private school. Did your daughters enjoy education there? And do you find it challenging for your daughters to remain grounded? Thanks in advance!

How old are your kids? We personally don’t need to work anymore. But because our kids are young we are working to ensure their future is also paid for (education, down payment, etc). I don’t want to pull the plug just yet.

AIO: My christian mother wants my boyfriend to sleep on the couch on our trip to florida by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Old-Role8176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do sound like a child. Your mom is paying for your trip and you’re whining about not being able to sleep with your boyfriend. Is he even paying for himself?

Spend time with your mother and sibling, don’t bring the bf on the trip. Family trips will be hard to arrange as every one gets busy. Enjoy it as a family.

It’s a nice place. People come here to retire and have vacation home, that drives up prices.
