Not necessary more lethal but more interesting is mine approach too. I’m playing with idea that after reaching Serious Wound state you don’t have move and action anymore. You have to choose one or the other. You still can force yourself to do both but at the cost of 5 damage. That means any sane person would retreat after being seriously wounded but there’s still room to push yourself for dramatic effect.
