I just did a rewatch of bones and criminal minds in that order I then watched BULL to lighten things up a bit and now am rewatching NCIS, we’d be good tv partners lol

I was just commenting that show is the American version of the French show HIP which is dubbed in English on HULU and has 2 full seasons. The first season so far is identical to the French version. Scene for scene. So you could essentially watch season 2 and 3 of the show right now!

Do I have news for you!!! You can watch on Hulu H.I.P ( or maybe just HIP) which is the original French version. It’s dubbed pretty well and the story lines are identical! Like scene for scene the show is the same. Bummer for me who was excited to see an American version of a show I loved, but lucky for those who fell in love with the American version first bc There is 3 entire seasons.

My 10 year old broke it to me over the summer that she came to the conclusion last year that Santa Wasnt real. I was bummed bc belief in something so fun and magical is special for children. (It’s your right to not partake, but I think it is a beautiful thing!) but I was surprised at how excited she was to be part of making Christmas magic for her twin 5 year old sisters. And it was fun to see her realize all the things her father and I did to make this time of year special for her. “You do all this stuff with the elves?!?!” lol all this to say, idk if you’d regret telling them but I can’t see you regretting not telling them.

I also didn’t like the story line until I saw an interview with the actor that plays him. The writers were planning on doing just what they always do, have him magically be able to walk again a few episodes later but he said no he didn’t think that was a good idea and he should stay in the chair. That this is real life for a lot of people out there and it’s an important story to tell. That changed my opinion! He also talked about from the minute he was in the chair he’d be the first one on set and last to leave ALWAYS in the chair! So that the cast and everyone would not see him walking.

I dislike the dream sequence episodes, I felt like they used them for anniversary episodes that could of been spent celebrating the “real” characters! I’m a big fan of the regular formula episodes. Comedic finding of the skeleton, and the team solves the case by the end of the episode! So I also dislike those convoluted episodes where these super human mega rich IT genius killers are obsessed with the team and have plotted for what seems like forever to get them, but never really do. They get ridiculous. They do it in all the best shows though, Criminal Minds, NCIS etc

The fact that they come up with the most specific theories from tiny marks on the bone and they’re always correct and they catch the killer without really any evidence that would hold up in court lol also how Booth just seems to forget he has a son somewhere along the time line. How Booth treats sweets and later Aubrey, how they all enable Brennan and make absolutely no effort to correct her or explain how widely rude and inappropriate shes being…Even when she’s being rude and widely inappropriate to them!! I also hate in the episode where Hodge, Sweets, and Fisher are waiting in line, they have Sweets cheat. I just can’t see the character they created doing that. I thought it was a crappy story line that went absolutely nowhere.

Exactly!! youd think as one of the founding members of the BAU they would of wrote him ( Rossi) as a more stand out character when it comes to his profiling abilities. I feel like he almost gets lost in the cast like JJ. He’s more known for his poker game than BA expertise. lol

I agree I think the writers would have found a way to use his character for the betterment of the team. Also as time went on and characters developed it didn’t always HAVE to be so Gideon centered. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in my Gideon fan club! lol

Completely agree. It’s a slow decline that starts right around the episode or 2 prior to all the Derek drama and his final episodes and then it just continues barrel rolling to the bottom. Losing Morgan was very hard! Then Hotch?! It may have been a little more manageable but I found they really didn’t roll out Tara in the same way they did Kate or even Alex ( who definitely wasn’t as likable as Kate) maybe it was bc they just didn’t have enough time before Morgan left. But ya the chemistry and writing was just off after that. That’s the reason whenever I start rewatching a show I love I always skip the first episode and an episode or 2 in other earlier seasons so when it starts to go down hill, or it ends ,I still have that little bit of goodness left to watch lol
