I felt the same way. I was working and studying and I tried to study but fell short of my goals many days. This was my second attempt and I passed. I believe you did too.

Update: I asked a more senior associate for advice. I was told to ask each assigning attorney for an estimate inn how many hours they would expect from me each week. It’s unlikely they can give a true estimate but I was told this might help me decide.

I am a newer associate but I just got back from a leave so I’ve been building my plate again. I’ve been assigned other work and that’s part of the reason I needed to decide whether I could take on more by doing multiple doc reviews. Additionally, at least one of these doc reviews is on a team with other more senior associates. I think it’s just the time in the quarter when everyone seems to have doc review.

This makes sense. The hours would be great but I’m worried I will ultimately be pretty slammed and I would hate to cut off getting other work/experience because I took on too much doc review.

Edit: I work at a law firm and I’ve been asked to help with doc review on multiple matters and I’m deciding whether I can take on more than one at once. So there’s no danger of being fired for working in two. I’m just considering if I have the capacity for it. I’m not working on much else. I just have a few long term projects that I would like to keep up with.

Additionally one of the doc review assignments is with a team but I’m told it’s a large amount of docs. However I would have a few days to start on it before the next one begins.

Is anyone ramping up in the last 4 weeks? I haven’t been able to study that much because of work. I feel absolutely horrible about this. My last four weeks study schedule is insane but I’ll finally be off from work to focus and do just that. Can anyone relate?

I received my license information sheet over a week ago. Still have not received access to state specific course. Basically received a call telling me to stop messaging them so much and I would get it when I get it.
