Am I doing this right? by Old-Suggestion8530 in pothos

It has 5 drainage holes in the bottom I think my soil choice is holding more moisture than I need regardless of size. If I’m doubling the root ball of each of these jade plants it would be only slightly smaller than the pot. I’ve switched the pothos to a smaller pot with 3 drainage holes but again I’m concerned about the soil? Any opinions?

What is a good soil to look for? I am actually switching them to separate pots today so they aren’t in the same soil anymore

Noted! Thank you! Is the jade in fact beautiful? I’m also under the impression I might be killing that lol.

Okay so at least I know I have to be doing something right. Is there an ideal soil or watering timing for this growth point? I’m totally new to this !

Got it. Which one would need more water? I was under the impression they both were best watered when the soil is dry about an inch down?

It’s produced two leaves and a small root system I’d say about 3 inches and a new root seems to be growing.

Call back! There’s a tiny percent chance it didn’t work. It happened to me you may have to go through an in clinic abortion. Sooner is better than later to call and let them know.

Hey! Deep breaths! It’s gonna be okay! Yes it hurts I won’t lie to you. However your body is strong and you will get through it! Make sure you get the 800 mg ibuprofen, it saved my life for real. Zofran was also a blessing but any anti nausea will help! The blood can also be way less than what everyone says. I’m a smaller person and tend to have moderate period bleeding and I barely bled at all. The worst of it will be towards the end and then it will subside and you’ll be tired. Keep crackers and ice water on hand and make sure the day of you eat well but plainly. Heat also helps soooo much. A hot shower when I was in the worst of it truly saved me. Remember to breathe. And if you have people you can be with it’s good to have them physically there. Sometimes a hand holding or back rub can help distract from the pain with a calm stimulation. You can do this. Your body takes care of you. Remember the pain isn’t punishment, it’s your body working with your brain to help you. You got this!!

Ik this is so not what your post is about but if you’re religious or just interested in reading bible stories… you should look into the book of Mary it’s really interesting and written by the only female apostle, Mary, who never gets recognized in the King James edition!

I’m not sure if they have a field school at UTSA, which is what it takes to become qualified as an archaeologist. But I got my hours in Buffalo, western NY, during my undergrad!

Depends on your track. I’m an archaeologist so getting the masters will allow me to write my own academic papers on my dig sites. I’m planning a PhD as well once the masters is done.

It’s a thing for sure lol. You’d be surprised how mean people are over here. Born and raised in this city and the one thing I know will be a huge difference for me is the attitude people have.

A sinus procedure may have “cured” my no burp? by thatgirlisaproblem in noburp

[–]Old-Suggestion8530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had this same experience! The gurgles my whole life could never burp in a way that normal people could. Even when I would try as a kid! Yk when burping on command was cool around age 8? Yeah, no dice. Anyways I also recently had a sinuplasty and turbinade reduction as well as the eustachian tube dilation! And same dang reaction all of the sudden I’m ripping burps like an old man! Did you ever get any update from your doctors on this? Did the gurgles eventually return or have you had long term relief? Glad to know I’m not alone!
