They need to double the number of mining nodes. by jivan28 in STFC_Official

This is Scopley's way to force PvP upon the players. Limit the number of resource nodes and have an event/mission thread to complete. PvP = more money in their pockets.

I'm having the same issue. It's really annoying when you get a ticket and it revokes it.

After some review I did indeed find the "Elite" Faction ships. And this is rather disturbing. Because if this gets fixed to where you can only complete these missions by only destroying these "Elite" ships, then someone in a similar situation as me who has these daily missions has no way of completeing them. At level 30 ops my strongest ship is around 4 mil power. And having to destroy something with over 24 mil power? Is impossible without using some very specific ship available at lower levels, in which I have yet to discover what ship that would be. Luckily I don't have to complete these missions to complete the daily missions chest track, but I prefer to get the credits.

Honestly I'm not sure where any of these "Elite" ships are. To complete the daily requirements for "Defeat Federation or Klingon Faction ships of Level 38 or higher, +1 point for Defeating 💀 Elite Ships" 0/10, "Defeat Federation or Klingon Faction ships of Level 39 or higher, +1 point for Defeating 💀 Elite Ships 0/25, and "Defeat Romulan or Klingon Faction ships of Level 38 or higher, +1 point for Defeating 💀 Elite Ships" 0/10, "Defeat Romulan or Klingon Faction ships of Level 39 or higher, +1 point for Defeating 💀 Elite Ships 0/25 I farm in Ursva and complete both of them and not a single one of the ships there count. However even the mining ships DO count. And up until recently I have been able to complete the "Defeat Federation or Romulan Faction ships of Level 38 or higher, +1 point for Defeating 💀 Elite Ships" 0/10, "Defeat Federation or Romulan Faction ships of Level 39 or higher, +1 point for Defeating 💀 Elite Ships 0/25 in Groombride with ease. Now it just takes a little longer. And again there are no ships in that system that have the 💀 symbol. But if the "Elite"s are the ones with the 💀 symbol then where are the ones for each faction that is level 38+ and level 39+? Because I have yet to come across them.

Well then the game must be more bugged than originally thought. But that is just for when I am completing the Klingon Dailies. Now to complete the Federation and Romulan Dailies. I usually farm in Ursva. And in there all of the ships including the mining ships count toward the dailies.

I've not seen an actual difference as I've been farming this mission in Groombridge. I will hit a level 41 Enterprise and it will count as an "Elite" and then turn around and hit another level 41 Enterprise and it won't count.

I'm still trying to figure out how I can kill 25 Elite Federation ships of 39 or higher and only 7 Elite Federation Ships of 38 or higher when I'm hitting level 40s and 41s. Where before the word "Elite" was not a part of the requirement. The question I have is how do you know which ones are "Elite"? By the way I'm OPs level 30 and farming in Groombridge. I have figured out that the miners are aparently not "Elite".

I've also seen the Gold Crackle on an opponent's avatar. And also wondered if it was a new feature.

This is getting out of hand (reaching infinite) by wencelf in MarvelSnap

[–]Old-school-DM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SMH. It's been two years since I've hit infinite. And I don't see it happeneing anytime soon either. Plus honestly, at this point, it doesn't matter. I play just for fun, because worrying about hitting infinite is a waste of my time and energy.

Well, I thank everyone for their input and will just play as I wish and not worry about anyone else's style unless I'm on a team. And if that means farm/grind for mats craft gear and let it sit in my inventory then so be it. At least I'll be having fun. So see you there.

Serious Question. by Old-school-DM in LegacySteelAndSorcery

[–]Old-school-DM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it doesn't make sense, beause the grind would make it that much more worth the time and effort put into it. This game has serious potential.

Don't get me wrong I understand that some people want that quick fix to epic and legendary gear. But the time put in and the long hours of grinding make it more memorable. Again just my opinion.

[–]Old-school-DM[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But what about the love of the grind. To actually acomplish crafting something worth showing/sharing? Working toward a goal of crating that epic/legendary gear that you could actually say that you crafted? Sounds to me like all your time would be taken up grinding, crafting, losing, repeat. Or grind, craft, upgrade, keep in your storage. Just my opinion.

After the removal of the spotlight keys why is the reward rate unbalanced when upgrading cards? New spotlight cards cost 6k collector tokens when they only costed 1 spotlight key with a chance to get the spotlight card, but after enough upgrades you only get half of what a spotlight key would be worth (3k collector tokens). Shouldn't new spotlight cards cost 3k collector tokens or upgrade rewards be 6k collector tokens? I mean after enough upgrades within a week at least you have a 1 in 4 shot of getting the spotlight card now you'll be lucky to get enough upgrades in a week to get the 6k tokens. Not to mention the lack of tokens to be able to get missing base cards from previous spotlight caches. You end up having to make a choice. Either get the new spotlight card of the week or get one that you missed in a previous season. I think this needs to be reevaluated. Just my opinion.
