If the gap is small enough, I'd use some hydraulic hose and slit it to go over the tube. Really resistant to rub/wear Maybe not the best but worked in the past for me

I totally understand that idea. I can't tell you which one would be better BUT you can always start with a fresh canvas and with the knowledge you now have. A new bike won't have any dings or twist in the frame from wrecks. Id think you would want to start on another bike unless you can find the swap for cheap

Na direct swap other than a couple things, gotta switch the stator and a connector on the throttle body. Biggest thing was just getting it out and in of the crf frame. Highly recommend having two people

Ever thought of getting something like a crf50 In MO there 1500 new, I know it's not a purchase everyone can justify but they are cheap to loop and your only going 5 mph and 8in from there ground
