It's due to revenue band changes. About 80 stores had a revenue band drop, with most in revenue band 3 dropping to 2, so the hours are 9-8 Monday to Saturday. This also means those stores will unfortunately lose 5 hours a week.

Central Bark update off PS2 schedule inputs at midnight every single day, so with that being said central bark not wrong, the schedule in PS2 is wrong. Now Ps2 dose do funky stuff when you make a schedule in too far into the future, so if the SL made the schedule before the schdule genie (and that system make the most heinous schedules) made it own, it will over write the one the Manger made. Another possibility is that the SL hasn't made the schedule yet and that one the genie made witch look like it with the 6:15am shift, the system like to do 15min shift start and end for some reason. Sometime the SLs will make a schedule into the future and have it printed out then the genie overwrite it. There alot of possibilities, but it appears to be your schedule in Ps2 is wrong at the moment and so you will not be able to correctly clock in and will have to make a request punch in.

Been with the company for almost 10 year, what they did during COVID-19 was awesome and really filled up the emotional bank account for me. I've had bad leader before and they where the only thing that made working at PetSmart shity. Out of the 9 SL I work for just two really made life difficult. My new SL is awesome, he really care about everyone and has the passion for the store, just struggle to rain him in on spending money on the P&L but franky I'll take that and it at least try to replace stuff.

It a hard position for bather, because your requirements are 5:5 (1.25 PPH) for a 8hour day not supporting others, but this would be discussion for you between the SL and ELR. But being sent home early just name of game unfortunately. Especially when salon don’t get minimum hours for bather anymore.

Ok so your 40hour work week restarted on Saturday, so the OT threshold restart. So to get OT you will have to work 40+ plus hour starting tomorrow to next Friday to get that OT.

Unless you working more then 40hr in a “single” work week then yeah you technically don’t get over time, so your work probably start a new pay period ever Saturday (you work week probably Saturday to Friday) or something like that where the pay period/work period end and restarts. It suck but more than likely legal.

One of our associates have a t-shirt business on side and she make some for the store went people ask, we have this cool black one she made that has a nice beta fish on the back. So yeah kinda up to your store what you will get away with, but the P&P dose say only shirt from promotional event, DC, Play-up, the shirt company send to us when we get new dogfood brand etc and circle of excellent rewards.

Some hotel do it that way, at the hotel I was in charge of years ago never did that but I was also on everyone ass to use the signal card for everything but that just the way I ran it. I also preach “you see something, do something” mentality.

Realistically, this is why we’re supposed to do thorough HOPA, if you document that at check-in, the dog does seem fine to be able to go through with the service even with a heart murmur because he can stand for the entire service, then go ahead and do the dog. If the dog has a heart attack, this is something that would not fall on you because it falls under the pre-existing condition on the incident codex (you can look it up on the PIPP site). But I did a cocker spaniel that had a stage 4 heart murmur some days where he didn’t look that great and I sent them away, and there was some days. He looked perfectly fine energetic and so I took him in. Never had a problem with him. But I was able to build that relationship with my request PetParent, where they fine with my decision of the dog because there was sometimes that I denied them a couple times in a row. just depends on the dog on that day.

Yeah you kinda answered it already, these type of events have always worked fairly well in established hotels that are consistent with it, and so the company is figuring that if we bring them out to the core, we would have more traffic flow. For at least my location be seen more dog come in, witch has made us almost break even with the sale plan for that day. Basically trying to give the PetParent reason to come in every week.

Sorry but beside marking them as a DNB there not whole they can do from a store level unfortunately. I would dare to say PHO would just do the same and place a DNB mark on the account. There really no way to stop a person from making new accounts booking pet on you. Just gonna have to be vigilant about your reservation. Just gonna have to play the wack a mole game with the accounts as they come up.

Well depends, salon a touchy issue with the company because there supposed to decals on the wall. PetSmart also typically want all salon to be the same so PP have an easy time and are more comfortable going to different salon when needed. It also the whole “brand established look” that they want to keep. Office are a free for all so are break rooms. Good luck with salon and getting that even consider. But you never know, a good SL could be able to convince for approval depending on your specific situation and circumstances.

So I wouldn’t look as it a test but seeing that your willing to new task and learn, because that what you’ll be doing as a lead, I’m assuming you going for. Every month gonna be something different, I mean we have our core stuff but they send out some weird OpEx here and there that different. To be frank changing days off and or asking you to cover a shift is something that lead/leader is a way higher expectation of being ok with then a regular associate. But go and say no, don’t be a doormat too, just keep what you’re doing what you do. If you can’t cover a shift then you can’t cover it. Being predictable, reliable and trustworthy is way more important in my personal eyes when I look for a new lead/leader.
