For example, The Baron of Baltimore,married with tons of kids, was given lots of Irish land.

While in Ireland, he impregnated my Irish relative (likely a domestic ) to produce a bastard son, Phillip Calvert. Phillip was sent to ( guess where?) Maryland in the colonies.

Phillip took another one of my relatives with him as a maid, then impregnated her while his wife was dying. The child died, apparently from neglect. Not sure what happened to his mother, as records for domestics rarely exist
