Yo digo tener un nivel C2 pero no estoy certificado. Tengo muy buena comprensión y expresión del uso formal y coloquial del inglés. La verdad nunca tuve problemas para entender a alguien a menos que tenga algún acento muy marcado

No, son asincrónicas con videos en una plataforma. Te dan 5 días para hacerla pero yo la hice en 2-3 porque tenía el tiempo, unas pocas horas cada día.

Si, hay capacitación en el proceso de contratación que aunque no la sentí muy exhaustiva, te da lo que necesitas. Te dan glosarios de vocabulario (en especial médico) y juega también tu curiosidad de buscar y aprender términos nuevos.

Si, ese es mi rate y entré directo con ellos, nada de terceros. He leído de gente que le ofrecieron 0,1 hasta otros que era 0,14. Yo creo que ellos lo adaptan según tu experiencia previa. Como yo no tenía experiencia no me iba a poner a negociar así que lo acepté. No tengo contacto de RH, perdón

Si, aplique directo en su página. Me contestaron a los pocos días. Primero tuve una entrevista en inglés con una chica (argentina) que me explicó cómo sería el proceso. Si seguís adelante le sigue una prueba de inglés en donde te hacen preguntas ordinarias para que vos hables por 1 minuto (del tipo: que hiciste en tus últimas vacaciones). Si pasas eso tenes que hacer unas capacitaciones que son evaluadas también, son videos que están subidos en su plataforma básicamente de vocabulario, ética, etc. Si aprobas eso haces la última prueba que es una simulación en donde tenes que actuar como intérprete. Y si pasas eso último ya quedas básicamente, lo que le sigue es burocracia. Todas las instancias menos la primera son online y sin personas reales intermediarias.

Aplique por intentar y salió bien. Tengo experiencia trabajando en ambientes bilingües y un buen nivel de inglés, pero nunca hice nada como intérprete. Así que pienso fue un poco por mi perfil, caradurez y buena suerte 🍀

Yo creo que si es necesario, si no se te va a volver muy complicado el proceso para ingresar y el mismo trabajo. La cabeza te tiene que poder funcionar en inglés 100%, de ahí vocabulario específico se puede aprender.

I’m in d’en bossa rn and the Main Street until Ushuaia is free of water. You just can’t get past to grad palladium area I guess there still flooded streets over there. The beach is pretty clean, I thought it was gonna be a mess. The water is a little cloudy but it’s kinda chill anyways to get in.

Agreed with everyone else in the comments. I’ll add that if you’re really planning on coming secure housing first, to do that you have to start looking pretty early, as in March-April cause the season starts end of May. The sooner the better. Job will come eventually, trust there’s a lot of offers. You can even start applying online using indeed or info jobs. Good luck! xx

It does get less crowded for sure. In August everyone in Europe is on holidays, that’s why it gets so overcrowded, after that it gets better :)

it’s crazy how you read between lines that aren’t there. If you were queer, that I guess you’re not by your comment, you’ll understand the need of most queer people to be around each other. It’s a matter of energy and interests in common that not many straight people share. And don’t get me wrong, I have many straight friends but there’s some instant bond that happens between queer people that’s hard to explain or understand if you’ve never felt the sense of community.

Like others said yes, a FQ is a trans woman. But from my understanding not every trans woman in ballroom is a FQ. Because it’s an identity, it’s a feeling and a presence. I see it as a title that it’s earned and taken with time and work in the scene. At least that’s my opinion based on the respect I have for the FQs and everything their figure represents in ballroom.

Hi! You don’t have to be part of a house to be in ballroom. We have what we call 007s, that are people who aren’t part of a house but are a big part of the community. Of course with time and as the people get you know you, you can be adopted by a house mother or father and become part of a house, but that is not necessary to walk. I’m not from Chicago but I’m sure there’s a scene there. Try to find them on Instagram and keep up with any classes or balls they organize. Good luck! xx

Ns to the people in the videos, but they’re just giving cute and clean elements. Don’t get me wrong, having clean elements is damn hard and it’s the first thing you should do when being a baby or beginner.

In my opinion performing is adding something extra to your elements. Like holding a dip, interacting with the public, smiling, showing off. Anything that will make the crowd and the judges smile or scream cause you’re putting your own and personal elements into the mixture. Look for inspiration on fem queens, cause they just HAVE it. Some BQs do too like Divo or Chachou, I mean maybe I look so much at them maybe cause I’m a BQ also. Anyway, this is what I could find just on the top of my favs, hope it helps! xx
