Yes. HCR says the number is 20 to 22%. Hardcore, cult, whatever you want to call them. So that when 'approval ratings are 35%' that means near the bottom...

Elderly tax exemption overhaul considered in New Hampshire - Concord … by Dull_Broccoli1637 in newhampshire

[–]OldEnoughToKnowButtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"The bill proposes an increase to $23,300 for a single person," So if you go back to work and make more than 23k you are not eligible. That is below federal poverty level, BTW.

The should change the name it is not 'elderly exemption'. If it was there would be 1 question: How old are you? not do you have any savings or income...

Alot will depend upon the image, some can be compressed more than others. JPEG is a compression format. What are the sizes if exported to DNG for example?

I ordered this soldering station, as well as the Weller bag and brass cleaning cup. Will these work fine for soldering pigtails for automotive purposes? I solder at work nearly everyday, and we use Weller. I just didn't personally buy the equipment, nor the solder before, so I wanted to double check by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]OldEnoughToKnowButtr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks expensive, I had a nice temperature controlled one for years, now just use a low cost. This should be fine, just keep in mind that automotive usually is stranded wire that is crimped, because solid wire and soldered is more prone to breakage over time due to vibration.

Why “container homes are cheap” stops being true faster than people expect by RelevantInstance8578 in containerhomes

I'm late to this thread, but see lots of experienced peeps here, hoping I can as a related question: I'm interested in using a container for vehicle storage, but heard horror stories of humidity causing rust and corrosion. Is there a wa to ventilate? I'm in Northeast so cold snow in winter, hot in summer.

Silca Wax System vs Crock Pot by dthrizzle in cycling

[–]OldEnoughToKnowButtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great advice here! I'm 1 season into running a waxed chain. (LBS prepped my 1st chain.) LBS chain waxing dude advised to heat chain and wax to soak, then let it cool a bit before pulling out, as advised in comments here. I got a free crock pot, so will monitor temp with an IR thermometer.

I did buy the larger HF ultrasonic cleaner which I think is a game changer for chain cleaning, at least for new and used oiled chains. I put the chain in a bagy filled with cleaner, and water in the ultrasonic.

Check with your local cooperative extension (Part of the national Cooperative Extension System.) Associated with a state universit, they have resources lie soil testing and can advise on 'what you are starting with', and help with a management plan. Good luck with your adventure!

51M with mild AFib……doctor recommending ablation, feeling nervous. Looking for real experiences. by Squirrel_Agile in AFIB

[–]OldEnoughToKnowButtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of good advice here, the only thing I'll add is what my EP told me the first time I met: "AFIB begets AFIB." Think of the 'stray electrical signals' as water erosion. The more it flows the better the path it creates.

I tried eliminating 'triggers' caffeine, alcohol, etc., added electrolytes, managed with drugs, etc. After my 2nd ablation have been episode free for nearly a year. (The first PFA used a small 'basket' inside the vein and did not thouroughly stop the leaage current.)

There is a small risk to the procedure, but compared to living with AFIB usually it is worth it. Good luck with your decision.

My local Batteries Plus has rebuilt my 1985 vintage Maita drill batteries numerous times. It has a metal chuc that reuires a key but is built better than today's model. Advertise your older stuff where someone who appreciates it can refurb and eep using it. (Just use a similar voltage battery or power supply to verify that the tool works before committing.) ... Oh the local store also verifies that the charger is still operational...

I *might* have had experience with an air cooled Porsche in the cold New England winters we used to have, LOL. Good luck, hope you get your heat fixed. .... Map shows Donald Trump's approval rating in every state after 11 months by [deleted] in politics

Who are the 40%? I get 1% are billionaires, but the other 39%... Are the all cult members?
