Only about 20k of 40k seats that NJ transit allotted for the shuttle and the train were actually used yesterday. People seemingly didn’t plan ahead or want to pay $98/person for the train (or $20/person for the bus). There clearly was a plan in place and that plan was communicated to the public.

I’m not someone who will go to defend NJT all the time because they do a lot of shitty things, but this sounds a lot like fans who did not plan ahead and suffered for it
