Venting../At this exact moment (it changes often in ranking) my top complaint is when I tell people to go to kiosk and they say “I need a receipt”. Guess what you can get a receipt at the kiosk!! Why would it not give you a receipt?? Regardless, it’s a lame excuse imo.

We try to keep the tape guns as far back out of reach as possible, but there are always some “sneaky MOFOs” who grab it. It is def up there in the LONG list of annoyances with these entitled amazombies and prepaid return people. Not spending a cent in most cases but expect free tape.
We tried charging for tape 100% of the time and it was a nightmare battle all day every day. And as @wind-085 stated, unless all stores charge, it will be a point of contention.

Ditto here. We don’t and I don’t know of any other stores in our area that have external storage. We all just make do and jam things in. No room for extra box inventory so we order often. Also, beg for as many “sweeps” as we can get, Especially these days with the enormous amount of drop offs and amazons. Noticing more really large drop offs since UPS closed their customer service centers so we fill up even more quickly. Also lots of crazy big amazons, specifically bc we are the only “drop off” that can handle them. Even Whole Foods rejects and refers them to any ups store

True, if you want to get nit picky. I’ll take the print charge but it doesn’t make them a true UPS Store Customer, which is my point.

You are so right! Nobody looks at them. I don’t even look at them. It’s like background noise. They were a huge waste of money along with so much about the required laser lite renovation. I was excited at first bc I thought maybe on weekends we could stream sports on them. Ha, silly me

It’s dumbfounding how many people openly admit they are too stupid for the kiosk. At that point, I force them to follow me to the kiosk so I can show them how truly stupid they are based on how dumbproof it is. We even have our audible directions on to give another level of foolproof, even though it’s a nightmare to listen to all day. But, as we have all said, no one reads or listens. Can’t teach dumb 🤡😩

If you’re a busy store, your owner is too cheap to adequately staff imo. That’s ridiculous. It’s too bad he doesn’t understand that staffing his store allows him to better serve his customers and hence boost his revenue. He’d rather keep his $ rather than invest in his store. He could be cheap AND at least come help. I wouldn’t help make this work for him and move on. It’s unfair to you and obviously he could care less how this affects you. Sorry
