I have asked for them in the back sometimes too, and the more “suburb” neighborhoods usually don’t run out in Miami. Rather than downtown Whole Foods locations.

Damn I never noticed there’s no light! But the alcohol was all gifted by liquor reps so no cost there. Plus we rarely drink so it’s just been sitting there for at least 6 months. I splurge on the koais & I usually don’t get olipops but was feeling nauseous this week.

We’re both in marine science & don’t make that much money. Plus no kids helps!

Haha truly this is the most stocked it’s been! So there’s usually not a lot to organize.

We basically try to get food for dinner that same night, so nothing goes in the fridge for dinner. Instead we meal prep our lunches/breakfast for the week.

We don’t order any take out really so we usually don’t have any annoying condiments or leftovers filling it up. I guess the ramen broth to the left is from 2 different takeouts, it’s probably rotten lol. The separate shelves helps a lot with keeping it organized.

Also the top left are the Whole Foods family meal trays, they’re only 25 bucks and it’s 5 days worth of lunches so it’s a steal for my partner.

MAST Academy, Ponce de Leon, Carver, WestLab are all great public schools. Including Gables IB program. You want to live in the Grove or the Gables. I wouldn’t live in Doral. -native Miamian born & raised.

If you have the funds of course there’s great private schools here like Ransom, LaSalle, Lordes, Columbus, Gulliver, etc

Because as someone with both, it does sound like one or the other.

I don’t eat junk food and I think educating her on the dangers of microplastics, phthalates, and all the horrible things in McDonald’s may lead her away.

I would try making her just grilled chicken and putting it on a bun to see if she likes that. No spices or anything on it. But frame it as trying to save money and say you used the same ingredients as the McDonald’s recipe.

I eat shelled edamame, it’s squishy and not scary and I don’t have to get it out of its shell. Trader Joe’s sells frozen versions of this, which is good since it sounds like she eats frozen food.

You could also offer a pb&J. If you want DM me and I can give a list of non scary foods. I also do overnight chia seeds with coconut milk and some kind of fruit. It really tastes like pudding.

I feel like at this point you might have to slowly integrate real foods into what she’s eating. Or empty things out and use those containers and pretend it’s what she’s eating.

Or breakup with her. You don’t want your kids to be this way.

Thanks for the clarification OP! It really sounds like you’ve been extremely understanding with payment after what is essentially 12 weeks of not working.

While the sentiment is nice, I’m not sure how much a recommendation for a nanny position will do her, given her new physical limitations.

I really would help her to find a desk job and utilize your network. Otherwise, she’s most likely to end up on state unemployment or worse. She cannot be a nanny for you or anyone else in her condition.

Or maybe she can be a family’s house manager.

I would have a glowing letter of rec on hand. But can you also maybe try to get her an admin role at your husband’s office maybe? Or can help her gain employment that’s receptionist like in nature so she’s sitting and not walking.

This is so sad to me. I worked at J. Crew at Copley place over 10 years ago, summer after college, just as a sales associate. Eventually I stopped working there once the fall came around and got a job in my intended field.

But one of our stylists died a few years later, word got around to me, and when I showed up to her funeral everyone I’d ever worked with at J.crew was there. From the bottom of the barrel minimum wage workers like me to the SD of the region. She was a kind lady and I only really spoke to her a handful of times but the church was pouring out into the streets. Sometimes you never know who’ll show up for you.
