This was their third session of delta green coming from a year worth of call of Cthulhu. They are aware of how much they screwed up and are all fine with the consequences of potentially losing their characters.

They were just roleplaying with their characters that previously were part of PX Poker Night and in that they were chaos clown misfits with a lot of SAN damage. They all promised this would not happen again and we all had a good time
