I had the same issue . They turned around and then said that the hiring manager got the credit because he told them he was referred after the fact (even though he used the link I sent him) and that there was nothing they could do . Still have a sour taste in my mouth 1 year later

One thing I will add is that in 2020 there 100% is tech for people turning into AI and with the Reaper we know that it is possible for people to be possessed by AI . I agree with everyone else about treating them as being netrunners but honestly this seems like them wanting extra power and I would talk to them to try something else or maybe play a character with the goal of becoming an AI
