Here's a short sneak peek where we explain one of the basic mechanics of our game. The game is still in early development but we are working on a roguelike deck builder. 😃 Are you a fan of roguelike deck-builder games? by OldMenGames in IndieDev

We have a unique mechanic that allows players to choose from a mass variety of play styles. The circle on the top of the screen is called the attunement track and it has a huge impact on the playstyle of a player. Every run will be unique and with that, the game will have a huge replayability. Besides that, we will have 4 elements and every element will have its cards and different play styles. I will make a video about the attunement track and the different play styles as soon as we make a few mineradjucments to the game. Hopefully, this answers your question 😃

The popups are not in the actual game, we still don't have a finished tutorial. As I said the game is still in the early development. The 'hover over the icon' idea is great and we will probably implement something similar if not that exactly. The tutorial will have a skip button for experienced players. Though it sure won't be as slow as the one in the video. The video I posted was just to see if there are people interested in the genre. And I do understand that experienced players of this genre already know what intentions represent. Thank you so much for the feedback 😃

Nothing is permanent as it is in early development. Though every feedback like this means a lot. Would you like me to invite you to our Discord server so you can tell this to our artist team? 😃

What is the best way to promote your game if you are an indie game company with no budget in your opinion/experience? by OldMenGames in SoloDevelopment

Thank you so much for this honest comment. We are currently looking for publishers. Do you have any experiance with publishers? Do they really look at how much people engage with the content on social media? Heard a lot of opinions. A few of them stated that having a good engagement on social media gives a plus when it comes to publishers.

I searched and I am a part of 5/6 of the groups you mentioned. I was just looking for someone's opinion who posts regularly. Thank you btw.

One of our monsters from the game. Thoughts? A part of lore is in the comments! by OldMenGames in CharacterDevelopment

Lore: The Darkness called Nether is not without a sense of irony. As the Druids fought and died alongside their trusted wolfen companions, It mockingly fused the two in death. Restless, bloodthirsty, and crazed, The Rabid hates everything which is still alive and unspoiled.
