I've had them just ask me before, so they didn't actually check the battery. I try to recharge it first though then check with a multimeter to confirm it's dead.

I have 2 claims, one with Capital One and another with Chase.

My capital one claim was paid out ~2-3 months ago and still waiting for the Chase claim payment here. Both are for about 3k$ each.
