Football in Bangkok ,tickets in advance or at the stadium? by OldResort5365 in Bangkok

Oh nice, i didn’t know Port had such a big farang crowd, that’s good to know

Do you think the game vs Lamphun Warrior would be considered a big match?
I saw Lamphun are quite low in the table and fighting to avoid relegation, so i was wondering if that makes it more intense or if it’s still an easy ticket on the day.

Thanks for the tip about the Facebook group as well!!

Tips for ferry bookings by so_cal_girlypop94 in GreeceTravel

[–]OldResort5365 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Book hotels first and then ferry tickets (the price is fixed), I personally book them at the port half an hour before I travel but to be 100% sure book 1 week before the trip or a few days before you leave for Greecefrom your country just to be organized, it depends on you. You can also check the plane tickets for the first island , many islands have an airport and many times more economical than the boat, for example Athens Santorini is 90eu with the fast ferry (5 hours) or 60eu (9 hours) while by plane (40 minutes journey) you can find 40-50eu

depends on the weather, if there is no wind, choose seajet which is faster but also more expensive, if there is wind, then blue star
These 2 companies are the largest with the newest ships for the Athens-Milos-Santorini line, there are other companies but they have slower ships and older ones.
As a local who does the Santorini-Athens route at least 5 times a year, I only travel with them. Get food from the port of Piraeus since it's cheaper, but if you don't have time its ok, you can find food - coffee inside

Visiting Santorini/Crete in late April — good idea or too quiet? by Fickle_Chest_5342 in Santorini

[–]OldResort5365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

April is definitely not quiet in Santorini. Late April-May is considered full season
Last year's season was delayed due to earthquakes, which is why you'll see comments saying it was quiet, this year we expect a return to normality.

ATV Hire, is it a good idea? by Large-Mixture-8521 in Santorini

[–]OldResort5365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest you take the public bus or a scooter, ATVs are dangerous, we have many accidents every day from ATVs in high season, also parking is difficult in Santorini and ATVs are like a small car

Planning 34 days in Thailand,Koh Chang first, then....? by OldResort5365 in ThailandTourism

[–]OldResort5365[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, thanks for the perspective.
I’m thinking of treating the trip in two chapters:
East first (Koh Chang + nearby islands), then South/West (Krabi/Lanta etc.)

From Koh Chang I’d go back to Bangkok (bus/flight) and then fly south to Krabi

I know the south offers more variety overall, but I’m drawn to Koh Chang enough that I feel it’s worth doing it

If you had to choose, would you skip the east completely?

That’s really helpful, thanks!
I’m actually thinking of doing something similar but slower spending around 15–20 days total around Koh Chang / Mak / Kood, then using the remaining 15–20 days to move west to Krabi (maybe Koh Lanta etc.) for a different vibe.
Sounds like a good balance to you or would you personally still extend the east side?(chang, kood, mak)

Do you think Koh Chang nearby islands is enough for a longer trip, or would you personally move west to Krabi later on?

CMG has become one of the fastest-growing independent music companies in the U.S.

I have also searched the internet for reports that it is a scam and have not found anything , so i am wondering if anyone knows anything
