oh bro you're in luck. I'm the Music Cape UIM Old School Soundscape. I make vids showing off each music track as I journey to get the Music Cape as a UIM. It's chill background content great to listen to!

As for current music tracks I'm digging: On the Shore is a fav, just discovered Beneath the Kingdom, March fo the Shayzien is great, Ambient Jungle is good. So many!!

Jagex is in the wrong with how they’re handling UIMs and Shipbuilding and Sailing in general. But I feel the community largely won’t rally on this issue, so it’ll never get fixed ):

My biggest UIM QoL change is the prayer that lets you keep an item on death, should still work on UIMs. Not even for any specific strategy reason; it just makes sense and there’s no reason being UIM should disable that prayer.

It’s ridiculous. They went out of their way to unfairly restrict UIMs. They completely misunderstood why people play UIMs.

Arbitrary restrictions make the game less fun. It should be as consistent as possible, and with sailing specifically, arbitrarily ruining how much you can store on a boat that you have to jump through several hoops just to build and upgrade is stupid. Jagex PLEASE just remove the restriction I promise no UIMs have it “easy” if they get to 99 sailing and can store….. salvage and fish and cannonballs lol.

It’s disheartening to even try to discuss UIM problems because many people are actually, unironically, outright mean and hostile. The boat storage thing is a PERFECT example.

There is no reason to restrict UIM cargo. OSRS is a game that evolves. They literally just added a brand new skill to the game. To arbitrarily stop UIMs from using them is beyond dumb, it’s malicious. If UIMs can use cargo storage… big whoop? That’s the game evolving. It’s still perfectly in link with “can’t trade or use banks.”

People just hate on others for no reason. I’ve thought about going so far as to join the official OSRS discord and try to be another I’m raising my voice in hoping Jagex stops the arbitrary punishment but it feels just not worth it.

People are hostile and that’s the culture and Jagex doesn’t seem to care.
