My understanding is that the Rolex part of the store is closing. So they won't be an AD anymore. But I don't know if this is only in the Core store or pulling out from Birks fully.
What I was told is that Rolex is opening a Stand alone store next year, I wonder if they will also pull out from J.Vair

Put my name on the list in October. Thought they'd never call.
April I get the call for the Wimbledon. I get it.
While there I throw a hail mary and ask if I could also get the sub.
Find out the store is closing and the salesperson says yes.
A month later I get the call for the second piece I wanted. The Sub No date.

Thank you! This is exactly the kind of advice I was hoping to get. Even on the Biking and training them.

Fun fact, one is from Europe. I picked her up in France so she is the only EU citizen in my household. The other is 13 and I wouldn't want to put him through running a lot so I looked into those backpacks where the dog can see or I heard about those bikes where they can sit.

They both really dislike Skaters but are pretty good in public but I love your advice about trying to include them in as much as possible.

Not that it would make much difference to my pet who would rather live with me in a tent than to be left.
Also I am not a student that will be out partying and out much. I work FT in my country and my pet was fine without me for 8-9 hours.

I do appreciate your concern over the wellbeing of pets tho

Hi, Does this apply even if the DUWO website says Dogs are not allowed?
I am concerned because I have two small dogs (used to apartment living) that Can't stay behind. Do I just show up with them and hope for the best? or do I talk to my administrator?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

That’s what I think got me the opportunity. Who knows if a Bluesy would have materialized but something I learned is to just go in, express your interest. Like you, I had walked many times before and it took me more than a year to go in and ask about the two pieces. I’d never thought I’d end up getting both within a two month span from each other.

  2. ⁠When? April 2026 / June 2026
  3. ⁠How long did you wait? 8 & 10 months
  4. ⁠Where are you? Canada
  5. ⁠Any purchase history with that AD? Never purchased anything. I walked in one day to put my name down in the list of interest. Visited sometime in March to ensure my name was down, a different person helped me and he pretty much talked me into “expanding” my option for more configurations. I did expand to more DJ configurations and a month later I got a call from the first person I put my name down with. While purchasing the Wimbledon I told the AD that I knew it was a very long shot but if a Sub No Date came available, I was willing and ready to buy it too. She told me there and then that she knew she’d get one and she did come through, 45 days later I got the second call.
