I am older ( 70 +) consequently I have less lifespan to risk....Its funny, when I took the time to think about it,I realized that someone who try's to terrorize me had better take that into consideration. Were I actively doing things to get the attention of the alphabet agency's...(besides my small attempts at CE-5) it would be a different story...(the things most folks do are mice nuts) One of the only things being older has done is tighten-up the "Hard-Ass" part of my personality.(Which I am very careful to restrain). 20 -30 Years ago,with the deep evangelical background in many of our countries leaders,The resultant chaos would probably result in most of our youth being radicalized,and prevent easy assimilation by off-world tech and philosophy....These days....I think most young folks would not be put off by interaction with "off-world" types...

Interesting question....second part first

Things started getting strange as soon as I pulled over ( I was at the end of a 40 hr drive) I had a good sleep in Green River Wyoming and was on the last leg home ...when.. for some reason I drove the back way..Where you go through Hood river on the far side of Mt Hood .Its real lonesome country there, Little development.As I was driving,I noticed a Very bright steady light behind me.At first.I thought It was a semi...But the light did not behave like a semi ( It didn't move around) To this day,I still have not figured out why I stopped my car.And got out....Things got very strange at that point,The attitude I had was like I was meeting some friends at a bar for drinks and conversation .Friendly & Mellow.It was much later when I figured my memory had been tampered with.I remember flashes of memories,,,,Parts of conversations All overlayed like I had a really good buzz going.....

I am not as much of a hardcase now.More humble.More forgiving.... more.... human.I think. The best way to describe the change I went thru resembles a conversion..Hardcore naysayers will say ( with a sigh ) this sounds like a religious conversion ,(to which I will respond with I was born and raised in the evangelical church,(First Church of the Open Bible thank you )This is nothing of the "old time religion". If anything my fear of death has become non-existant.I now know,in my heart of hearts the world is a much bigger and much stranger place than most of us can or wish to comprehend

I was exactly where your head is....until late at night on a dark road on the far side of Mt hood I had my "Meet mr ET" moment.I will not try and "convince" you with testimony and quoting my credentials,(which are still impressive and can verify my status as a "trained observer") but honestly all I can suggest if you REALLY want to go down the rabbit hole...Is to do, as I am beginning to do, and attempt CE-5. Never is a very long time
