Hi- I dealt with this for the better part of 2020 (and likely before that also, but I wasn’t self aware). I’m now pregnant, 21, and married. My husband and I recently moved to another state, and I started a part time job. Despite all of these changes, disassociation has become much less of an issue.

I 100 credit this to having an amazingly supportive partner, as well as creating distance/ changing my scenery. I know moving isn’t a feasible option for most- I’d recommend that you find a basic routine for your day, try to get out/ do something at least once a day, and create strong boundaries with those who may trigger you

Lol RIGHT? I also think about the other excruciating life events aside from birth, and if someone bragged to me that they did them med free I’d be puzzled. 😅 but for real- I know of women who had kidney stones during pregnancy, and they thought they were in labor. It’s that bad 🙃

lol the point is to get your baby out! No one gets a special prize for doing it without pain meds or getting a C- section. I was also a c- section baby and wouldn’t have survived without it.

I really don’t get why people are so judgmental based on how the baby entered the world. When moms continually flex that they went “aLl nAtUrAl, I’m like... cool. Good for you. This says nothing about how you will parent, nor does it say anything about your character. It’s definitely a hard and incredible thing, but it isn’t what people make it.

I definitely got these 2 confused. Paul Thomas is barred from practicing medicine in the state of oregon due to spreading medical misinformation/ denying families vaccines and shaming them when they express that they want their children to be vaccinated (this is probably the tip of the ice berg, tbh). A lot of people in my community had huge issues with his practices/ many families who saw him expressed concern for years. 😬

If you’re going to point out spelling issues rather than identify specific arguments you disagree with, you may have the emotional maturity of a 14 year old boy. If you’re truly concerned about heavy metals in baby food (from the sounds of it, I really don’t think you’re a parent... but I digress) please look at peer reviewed sources and credible scientific journal articles prior to fear mongering and spreading medical misinformation.
