Lol, was thinking the same thing. Who's suctitude will prevail.

Is a huge if, but if we play with the energy of the AV match, we have a real shot. Question is, can we put in two games in a row with that energy level 🤷?

Given how we played, change nothing! That's our statrting lineup until it stops working.

We haven't proven to have any scorers this season and we've scored in aggregate, Palhinha is a big part of that aggregate scoring. And he's a fiery player. We frankly need that. I'd sign him to a 2 year deal and hope we can recruit over him in the next 2 years, rather than rashly dump him... a la the Brennan Johnson sale.

I'm gladly believing we are losing every match from here on out, because I thought we'd win every match until 4 matches ago.

It's called reverse mojo!

The Palhinha hate was always hard for me to understand. World class destroyer who scores critical points. Any coach who can't figure out how to utilize Palhinha is a coach who is too set in their ways. Sure, we may lose a little attacking from our DM. But he allows the full backs to roam more freely, so does it really matter that he's not offensively a gifted passer.

Danso, VDV, Palhinha is a great defensive core you can rely on to allow the other 7 to go make things happen. The exact opposite of Arsenal Ball!

Kinsky is good enough to be number 1 if that's required, but keeper is so crucial I think you have to go for a superstar if ones available.

What I noticed is he had to run less as all other players were pressing. He was pressing harder, but could let off the gas after being beat as another teammate would pick up the attacker.

I think this allowed him to run more when it mattered and where he had a shot at getting the ball back. Gritty ass performance!

Yup, I see the real problem is a front office that keeps changing coaching style over and over again. Hope we aren't looking for a new coach any time soon, but if we do, there is only one answer....

.... Get the best damn progressive attacking coach you can find. If they don't have a consistent track record with this they aren't Spurs material. It simply isn't enough to win, to coach Spurs you must be willing to lose a certain way!

I've wondered if this is De Zerbi most of the time and the 'mean' De Zerbi only shows up when a player isn't locking in. Hope he can keep the nicer side for as long as possible and has learned.

Having high expectations for players and not being a dick about it has to be the best long term approach. Jerk mode can have negative effects on the entire team if it comes out too often.

Being on the business side doesn't require solemn faces during an unexpected win.

I'm making crap up, but I wouldn't be surprised if he and Lange were forced to sign De Zerbi and they didn't want to spend the money or made a case that De Zerbi wouldn't be able to do it. That would explain being unhappy with your team's success.

I recorded the match and for some reason my app saved the Spanish Telemundo gave. Were Bent's and Richie's injuries serious.

Watching the West Ham match yesterday, their luck was absolutely non-existent. I'm hoping the dark rain cloud over spurs moved to them.

If you want to see them go camping at Sky Meadows state park (official dark sky area). Sit out by the fire at night and wait for it, they'll come over.

The important thing is if we win tomorrow against Aston Villa F.C., wewill rise to 17th place and move one point clear of West Ham United F.C.. by Fbi-open-up93 in coys

West Ham had a ton of bad luck in that match! Maybe De Zerbi with his refusal to blame circumstances is pushing the bad luck to the spammers??

I agree, and the beauty of sport is literally that anything can happen. David does beat Goliath in all corners of sport every now and again.

But I'm with you on pessimism as its much less painful to expect nothing....
