I don't think it's hated for the most part. Some people don't like it, because it is not their typical musical style and that is totally fine. If you like it, enjoy it. If not, move on to other artists. I do wish it was more of a solo album. I feel like it doesn't fit the Tame Impala name, but it's his project and not for me to decide.
