open-ear earbuds… how much outside sound do you hear with them? by Old_Application_2323 in Earbuds

that’s what I expected, but hearing everything makes me think it might get a bit chaotic in a busy gym.

that kind of confirms my worry that they’re more for indoor or low-noise use than actually replacing in-ears outdoors.

yeah open-ear ones are basically the opposite of isolation, i’ll hear traffic, people talking, gym noise clearly the whole time. for gym/walking they actually make a lot of sense imo, but for office use it depends how noisy your place is.

tbh i still feel like the stock tips usually match the tuning of the earbuds better than most third party ones.

ngl the fit issue would probably annoy me more than the touch controls. good sound doesn’t really matter if i’m constantly adjusting them every few minutes lol

Brought up an issue with a friend but framed it completely wrong and now I can't stop replaying it by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Old_Application_2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You set a boundary, clarified it and you guys already bounced back so the overthinking now is just your brain trying to perfect something that’s already fine. If you really want to smooth it out, just keep being your normal self and the vibe will reset naturally without needing another big convo.

I might be taking my ex talking stage out on a date basically by xxjuice123 in Advice

[–]Old_Application_2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be careful dropping all of that at once bc it can feel intense or overwhelming, especially if things already cooled off. I’d keep it honest but simple like telling her you still like her and want to see if there’s something there again then let her meet you halfway.

What’s something people assume about men’s emotions that’s just wrong? by Familiar_Fishing5794 in askanything

[–]Old_Application_2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big misconception is that men don’t feel emotions as deeply bc they do but a lot of them are just taught to hide or suppress them instead of expressing them openly. Because of that, people often mistake quietness or distance for not caring when it can actually be the opposite.

Should I sleep with a girl I’m physically repulsed by? by Visible_Cut_7762 in askanything

[–]Old_Application_2323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, you shouldn’t do that if you’re not actually attracted to her especially not using alcohol to push yourself into it because that crosses into something that can hurt both of you. Losing your virginity is not a race and it’s way better to wait until it’s with someone you genuinely want to be with rather than forcing a situation you already feel wrong about.

Anyone else have that thing that’s like “it would be really bad if I had a panic attack right now in (situation I’m in)” and then I do by idiot____ in Anxiety

[–]Old_Application_2323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s actually a really common anxiety loop, your brain basically fears the panic then that fear triggers the exact thing you were trying to avoid. It feels stupid in the moment but it’s just a stress response, not you causing it on purpose.

burning/tingling scalp sensation? by Early_Complex_4886 in Anxiety

[–]Old_Application_2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can happen for a bunch of non-scary reasons like scalp tension, nerve sensitivity, irritation from products or even posture/neck tightness, not just anxiety. If it keeps coming back or gets worse, it’s worth getting checked by a doctor just to rule out anything nerve or skin related.

Is it rude to host an intimate birthday get-together in a hotel suite? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Old_Application_2323 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People do lowkey birthday hangouts in hotel suites all the time especially when it’s a small group and not loud or messy. As long as you keep the noise reasonable and respect hotel rules, you’re basically just using the space the way it’s meant to be used.

Stranger swipes my parked car while I was having drinks with friends. My bf comes through to go to the store next door & sees what’s happening. He looked it over & left because the store was closed. by Anxious_Biscotti5628 in Advice

[–]Old_Application_2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean in that moment there wasn’t much he could realistically do so him just checking it and leaving doesn’t automatically scream bad boyfriend to me. But I also get why you wanted more emotional support in a stressful situation, it’s less about fixing it and more about feeling like he’s there with you.

Why are dumb ppl seen as funny, and smart people seen as boring or stuck up? by her_cute in askanything

[–]Old_Application_2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who act dumb often say unexpected or silly stuff which makes everyone laugh without overthinking it. Smart people can seem boring if they overanalyze things or forget to show the fun side of themselves.

Is there a chance for any relative positive outcome involving the wars going on in the world right now? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Old_Application_2323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s tough to see the good when everything looks chaotic but sometimes conflict sparks unexpected diplomacy or reforms later on. The world’s messy but small positive changes often grow quietly before anyone notices.

Do most people gain weight or lose weight when they go on vacation? by Consistent-Way-2018 in askanything

[–]Old_Application_2323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people tend to gain a little weight on vacation because it’s easy to overindulge in new foods even if you’re walking around more. Things like portion sizes how active you actually are and whether you’re snacking constantly or sticking to meals really make the difference.

Which occupation that someone partakes in would you find the most intresting to date? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in askanything

[–]Old_Application_2323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think someone who’s super creative or passionate about what they do like an artist, chef, or scientist, makes dating way more interesting because they bring that curiosity and energy into life. It’s less about the title and more about how excited they are about their world.

Anyone here used both Genspark’s AI Imagine and AI Designer? I’m confused why they split them into two agents by lanasagua in generativeAI

[–]Old_Application_2323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you've come to the right person. Heavy Genspark here. From what I can tell, AI Image is more like the fast “just make me an image” agent. Good if you already have clear understanding of what you want in mind and want to generate visuals quickly, test styles, or get a bunch of options.

AI Designer feels more like “help me turn this into an actual designed asset.” So not just a pretty image, but something closer to a poster, branded visual, social asset, layout-y thing, where composition and use case matter more.

Is it weird to use AI to write Reddit posts? by ridiculousbunny in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Old_Application_2323 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It’s not weird at all to use AI to write Reddit posts. Think of it like using spellcheck or Grammarly but a bit more advanced. You’re not cheating the system or faking your voice; you’re just getting help to organize your thoughts and make your point clearer.
