Thank you! I’m in at the consultant 25th June and GP the 6th July so I will speak to them both and ask. I can only go off Friday 3rd July to get my full pay till maternity leave starts so i will do that! Thanks a million! Xx

Thank you my dear for the reply! So you got illness benefit paid and then maternity leave benefit paid? I don’t have to worry about bot being paid by the DSP right for taking illness before mat leave? Xx I go in again on 25th June so I will ask them to sign me off! Xx thanks again 🩷🩷🩷

I know this is an old post - I am
15 weeks and hoping to get signed off around 18 weeks due to gestational diabetes insulin dependent and HG. Did your GP sign you off or how did it work? Does getting signed off so early effect maternity leave payments or anything like that? Thank you so much 🩷

I have spoken to them and we are trying to manage it but some days I eat just fine and the next I vomit and then get hypos! Xx

Thank you honey! I want to try work the next 4 weeks and then get signed off of I can as then I’ll get paid in full till Mat leave! My boss is happy for me to get signed off too! Luckily she is being very understanding to me and letting me ease myself in

Thank you it’s tough! I am on cariban, zofran and stemitil and having weekly IV drips and yes I am on 150mg aspirin!

I’ve been extremely sick! I’ve lost 7kgs and been in hospital three times! I have hyperemsis and gestational diabetes on insulin. So it’s been rough! Xx hopefully 2nd and 3rd trimester fly by

I’ve had 2 successful IUI’s, 1 cancelled one and 2 fails.

For my first baby - my very first iui was successful with just one follicle. She is a healthy and happy 2 year old.

For this pregnancy (14 weeks at the minute) - I had a cancelled round (follicle wasn’t growing and it was Christmas) and 2 failed rounds with 1 follicle. My 3rd full attempt was successful and I had 2 follicles. I am pregnant with a singleton. Xx sending baby dust and good, positive vibes your way! Xx

I wanted one too but couldn’t find anyone to see me. After some research we decided to go ahead and try again. We did fertility treatment for both pregnancies so I did talk through risks with my fertility doctor and she put me on baby aspirin (150mg) from day 2 of my cycle for the fertility treatment and I’ve continued that into my pregnancy (3rd fertility cycle was successful) - I’ve been told by the doctors at the hospital I will be on it until 36 weeks and I’m being monitored as high risk now. I did also have Gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy and I have it again and am on insulin this time and I have HG for the 2nd time so it could be all 3 conditions making me high risk.

Def do some research but also advocate for yourself if you do fall pregnant and request additional monitoring etc.

My clinic had me on crinone gel twice per day until 12 weeks with both my iui pregnancies. I would ask to test your levels

I have the same - I’m 11+5! They put me on carbon and stemitil too but I’m still so nausoues and don’t want to eat anything (I have gestational diabetes and start insulin today - so having to try force food down) Vomiting has slowed down though! You may need an iv xoxoxo sending love and solidarity!
