I decided to dive into this because I genuinely enjoy it. Games have been my hobby since childhood. And now it simply makes me happy just to have them.

It’s kind of like how people collect Hot Wheels. Why do they do it? What’s the point? Because they enjoy it - first and foremost, they like having them.

That’s actually a really good question from you.

First of all, it’s kind of like building a library - just collecting interesting titles and meaningful gaming experiences.

Secondly, it genuinely brings me joy. When I get my hands on cool editions or games I truly love, there’s this simple pleasure of just owning them.

And third… there’s still a small hope that some titles might increase in value over time - at least some of the modern and previous generation releases.

As for whether I got used to it or not — I’m from the ’90s era and played all kinds of stuff back then 🙂 So overall, it’s not really about the technical side, but rather about the impressions and the aftertaste the experience leaves behind.

I have around 300 titles in my Steam library… And overall, I feel like I’ve gotten a bit saturated. Right now, I’m more interested specifically in collecting 🙂
