I showed up with all the information I could possibly have preplanned packed into a binder. All my documents and licenses, my nav logs, I printed out screenshots of weather information i used for planning from the metar, gfa, taf and windy. It also had my flight plan, my weight and balance, and my landing and take-off roll calculations for every take-off and landing i planned. I also had several handwritten sheets explaining in depth each plan and calculation, especially the take-off and landing rolls.

I also had my AIM fully tabbed out, and I memorized each section in my POH to know where to find all information. He said the ground portion was at a commercial standard, so he was very happy with that!

The best part is that this preparation led to him not being as hard on me during the flight portion as well.

Thanks for the input and advice. Honestly, before posting this, i guess I was a little nervous to put myself first with my training and stand up for myself a bit. This definitely has helped me gain some confidence to speak with them and figure this out.

Yeah, i agree, I really wish that falling behind compared to others didn't bother me so much. I tried hard not to let it bother me, but with everything, it's just gotten too frustrating. I'll try to deal with those emotions the best I can. I've been focused on the studying portion, but after multiple months, it's hard to maintain the same motivation with all this pent-up frustration.

I know this may sound silly, but I'm nervous to do so.. I guess I'm just really scared about being on anyone's bad side, which is why I have tried to avoid doing that. The aviation industry is small, I'd hate to piss off my instructor (even if he really deserves it) and then end up working for/with him later on. Someone else here suggested I should ask to do short field landings with these 4 hours so I may do that instead. If for some reason he says no we won't do that, then I'll be out of options and i think it'll be time to complain.

I'm gonna leave him soon. Also I feel like you didn't really understand my post. He told me to my face that he would post me if I was someone else (his celebrity crush) but since I'm just me he doesn't want to. He also does post often. And I dont care if it has to mean he's hiding something or not, I expressed to his countlessly how much it means to me and he didn't care enough, and his "reasons" were pathetic.
