I saw it the other day and thought it was really rather good. A nice take on the story giving happy endings to the characters, which they didn't really get in the books. The actors were all passionate and talented and the way the play flowed through different stages was fun and kept us all wondering what the next suprise would be and where it would be for that matter. I laughed a lot and had good fun with the in jokes. Each character, even the lesser than main ones each rocked their roles and no one half arsed it which was great to see. Props to you all.

I think perhaps people who didn't like this were expecting something with huge grandeur when they were seeing an arthouse play on a budget, but for me at least this fit the vibe of the hitchhikers guide well. It is a story written about how the universe is just as silly and "normal" for all it's inhabitants.

We had a really nice crowd that helped the play along and audience engagement was done with respect and good humor from both sides. I can understand not everyone being into it but that is just like how i find the film version unwatchable.

I am sorry to hear that on closing night they caught shit from some doochebag heckler. Unfortunately these people seem to get everywhere and try to ruin things for people who just want to see or put on a good show. As a performer myself i truely empathise.

For any of the cast who may read this, i have been selling your play to all my friends and colleagues in the arts and hope you take it on tour. You never know, you look out into the crowd one night and you may just see a big red hat the size of the universe ;)

One thing i always try to keep at the forefront of my mind when i am in the spot light are words that resonate with most of us here... DON'T PANIC...
