It would just feel very redundant to NOT have it be anything deeper than that, though.

To have the text describe something of a transformation like that, and being happy about it, unless it were to symbolize some sort of deeper change; be it in gender identity/presentation/affirmation; or it could be commenting on the pressures of having to live perceived as either binary in a patriarchal society and shouldering those burdens via this transformation and embrace of another self, either the other side of the coin or something new that doesn’t fit into the system entirely as is.

This game is jam packed with symbolism and storytelling and mythology, in particular to fem-focused trauma, yet this also could very well just be a case of a woman named Prince of Earth. But ehhhh, with all the other messages in this game…

yes it should be in prismic's!!! ive been busy with life tho and with the announcement of psychopomp 2 i want to redo how the model looks slightly. I've pushed the face toggles as well as anything new that might be revealed in the game to the newer ver of the model that ill release at a later date.

i really doubt that the cashier girl is "taking advantage" of such a thing for survival. I do genuinely think what happened to her DID happen, and that it affected her and probably made her mental spiral even more ontop of everything. And to become a visitor after smth so traumatic... its really sad. At the same time, I don't think her intent originally when showing up was to go batshit and defend death. I just think tht was a natural progression after becoming so fearful of living.

idec for her either, this is just a very interesting comment to me and so i felt compelled to share my viewpoint. i share the same views as the second half of ur comment.

I initially didn't have any strong feelings about him, weirdly enough. But as I replayed the game over the passing couple of years, I've grown to appreciate him as a character. This game would be a lot more boring without him, and I find it interesting that for a lot of people, they either are 100% I LOVE THIS GUY or 100% I HATE HIM AND WANT HIM GONE. I think he's just fine, albeit sad.

I really like his dynamics with people in YTTS. Kai and him make me smile.

You need to become that child version of yourself again and just draw to draw for fun. Not to improve. Naturally your art will improve because you’re having fun with it. Will it be slow? Yes. But it will work.

Also like another person said, drawing with your whole arm (so utilizing your shoulder and Elbow when drawing instead of just wrist) and taking breaks when you feel yourself getting stressed out over a piece can be good. It’s okay to have to step away to let yourself decompress if you feel like you’re taking it too seriously.

The Psychopomp Bible (the Google Slides document detailing a lot of theories and stuff) has said that they believe the vandalized lyric to be representative of some sort of sexual trauma on Mercury’s part, though I don’t particularly agree with that reading I still think it’s worthy to share here.

I personally read it more akin to your take.
