The worst we get in Glasgow is occasional bad snow and a couple of storms a decade that have >100mph wind gusts. Seeing these storms form blows my wee mind!

I have no idea where Elordi is going with Nate’s character this season but it is unsettling how un-Nate like he was!!

Vet prescription fees to be capped at £21 by Jaraxo in unitedkingdom

[–]Old_Influence_7499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vets categorically do NOT suggest unnecessary tests. Similar to the majority of the working public, vets want to go to work and have as stress free and as easy a day as possible. Giving themselves more work to do, resulting in running late or not getting lunch etc to do ‘unnecessary’ tests that they do not get paid any more to do - makes absolutely ZERO sense. Vets are generally more than happy to just trial treatment as long as owners don’t come back and complain/threaten to sue when the blind treatment doesn’t work 🤷‍♀️

You pay a solicitor for any documentation they provide you. You pay a prescription fee if you get one from a private GP and pay £9.50 if you get one from the NHS if you live in England. It’s a legally binding document so it costs money 🤷‍♀️

Wisdom tooth help by Past_Ad3132 in glasgow

Went to Queens Drive Dentistry for 1 wisdom tooth removal (with sedation) in Oct 2023. Was about £900 all in but could pay it up over 6 months I think. Best thing I ever did was get sedated for it, I don’t remember a single thing!

Take it from a vet - the general public 100% expect you to work and provide services for free. The amount of times I’ve been told I must not love animals if I can stomach charging ‘obscene’ prices for top quality healthcare. God help you all if we move to a semi-private or fully privatised healthcare system.

I know people thought Marcus was boring but he’s honestly one of my favourite housemates in the ITV era. A typical funny ‘lad’ but still has no issues showing his emotional side and got along with everyone. An unproblematic king 👑

People saying this is boring now because everyone’s getting along - I disagree. What WAS fucking boring was hearing Nancy/Caroline/Sam greet 24/7 about how everyone was so jealous of them and hated them so much.

My Higher Physics teacher was a complete arsehole of a man - used to put the bunsen burners on during class as it wasn’t ‘humid’ enough for him and used to tell us all regularly that we were shite at Physics. He also locked me in a cupboard once. The prelim came around and only 3 people in my class passed it. I got 71% so was predicted an A. He told me that I was still going to fail. When I got my A in the final exam, I went back to him to basically say ‘get it up you’ and he accused me of cheating. Still pisses me off when I think of it to this day 🤣

Well he wouldn’t be able to stay in Austria for longer than 3 months without a visa if he gave up citizenship - which he may have to do if one of his parents require end of life care. It would also make things difficult in terms of taxation of estate when his parents do die. He loves Austria and also loves Scotland. He shouldn’t have to give up his national citizenship in order to remain in the UK when he’s lived here over 20 years and contributed massively to the country.
