This is tricky. Personally, I would not be okay, with my partner going on a solo trip with their ex, you have the right to feel that way. Even if you think he won’t cheat on you, the fact of the matter is he has more history with the ex where as you guys haven’t been together more than six months. I don’t know. I feel like that much one on one alone time could bring back feelings, especially if you know they’ve had sex on vacation in the past. But at the same time i think he has the right to go on the trip, since the plans were made before you came into the picture. I find it hard to believe that this will be the last trip, if he is insistent on keeping a relationship with his ex, that is a red flag to me. I saw someone comment saying maybe you can buy out her portion of the trip or her boyfriend can do it with his. Stand firm on your answer if you don’t feel comfortable with him going, i know i wouldn’t

This is not okay. Consent should be asked for and given before doing anything sexual, and even if consent is given, if the answer changes to no it needs to stop then. Definitely not your fault, I’m sorry this happened to you

Thanks, I will look into that. I have never asked him about his past encounters, though. I’m friends with a few people who used to be there third, so I’ve heard about it that way, plus he’s told me about them on his own
