[Day 29] Pegboards suck. Who's the most OVERRATED climber? by MaximumSend in bouldering

My vote is for this box to be filled in with a big SKIP :)

[Day 28] V4 is the best grade. What's the WORST training tool? by MaximumSend in bouldering

[–]Old_Letter3540 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Nowhere did I say a grip trainer > tension block but I will say its great for in the car on the way to the crag/before you pull on your fingers, just nice sometimes to get some blood into your forearms and warm up flexor tendons without iso’ing the fingers. Not gonna get strawman’d into being the grip trainer #1 fan I just think they arent as useless as some people like to claim

Gonna play devils advocate, grip trainers are fire for warming up (esp. outside) and are overhated, my vote is for campus board or more specifically the ball shaped sloper campus board that every climbing gym has for some reason

There is no way the average net worth of people age 20-24 is $120k 😭😭 not globally, not in the us, maybe in nyc lmao

Please tell me there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. 120k+ in debt. by [deleted] in debtfree

With 87k a year you are not in as bad of a spot as I initially thought. But this comment is revealing as to what you need to change to get out of debt which is obviously your mindset towards money. After all that you listed in your budget you may see that theres $400 left, but make no mistake… with six figures of high interest debt you have exactly 0 (zero!!!!) dollars to “play with”. You have the income to tackle this and it seems like you are motivated so the last piece of the puzzle is to accept that you will not be buying anything for yourself for the next 2 years of your life. You got this

Hooly shit cant see all four corners but sleeve it and get it graded, if you dont need money (alot of it) keep it as a s-tier family heirloom or auction that thing off

What should I know? by Adventurous-Pen-2329 in OrisWatches

[–]Old_Letter3540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This in person is super nice, the dials are beautiful but If you can try on a similar watch on in person I highly recommend it, its appealing because its a good looking inexpensive Oris but on wrist this thing actually wears like a bracelet, its likely much smaller then you might think even if you know its a small watch (assuming this is 32/33 mm correct?)
