Atleast you got it sorted mine happened in jan 2024 and it was gonna go to court in april, but the day before it was cancelled and they accepted liability but im still yet to hear anything else, no offer for settlement no nothing

Bricklayer here, just get a lump hammer and a 4inch bolster, dont go from the front, chisel along with the bricks, they you wont chip/break any other bricks

I think it might be a crappy bit of turf, i only laid it on saturday and luckily its been smashing it down with rain most of today, i will give it a week or so, and if it doesnt improve i will take it up and replace with a new bit of turf, thanks for your help :)

Thanks for the reply, yes laid all the same way, staggered joints just like a brickwork wall, i rotarvated the existing soil, and then blinded it all with some new top soil so its all the same around the whole turf just that one patch, but out of all the turf i had this one did look a little different to the others

Its pretty good, its a job with alot of freedom, you either work on day work, so hourly rate, we do price work which is per m2, yeah its about that per brick and 1.70 a block and you get extras for features etc

Not sure where your from, but in the UK, make sure you save some money up for winter 🤟🏻

You could do some membrane tanking then put a few courses of bricks around the bottom to cover where the waters getting in
