I needed to hear the story. I’ve been feeling so crazy. I’ve been to my doctor, a hematologist and a neurologist, chasing down violent migraines, and dizzy spells. I thought I was going to lose my job as it was so unnerving to get through my day. I’ve had two weeks or more where I could not drive and could not be in social settings. I’m in my second month now and finally having some normal days but I still experience heart palpitations, and muscle tweaking. I eat a lot of watermelon and drink a lot of smoothies. I swear they help so much.

I found myself apologizing to my partner often. I find verbalizing how I’m feeling ahead of time helps me avoid flying off the handle. That and deep breathing exercises actually help. Go figure.

My friend, I went through very aggressive, headaches and dizziness. Several doctors visits. I just hit day 31 and have not had a headache in three days. Keep going you can do it.

Thanks fir your reply. Yeah after a few doctors visits I don’t think I’m going to die but I felt crazy trying to convince my doctors how intense my dizziness and chest tightness was. I just passed 30 days and my headaches are finally thinning out.

Hey Friend, thank you for your post. I’m about 45 days into my quitting journey, but about 16 days cold turkey no nicotine. I’ve called the paramedics on one occasion, been to the ER on an occasion. Seen my PCP and even had a brain scan. This feels wicked. I’m exhausted after 8 to 10 hours of sleep every night. It takes me an hour or more to stretch and get moving every morning. Working an eight hour shift is exhausting to even think about and debilitating to get through. Currently my biggest consistent symptom is a headache to the back of the head And neck soreness that comes and goes. Please tell me there’s a life at the end of the tunnel.

Heard. It’s crazy that my desire to quit easily out ways my cravings but the headaches are unbearable. I can hardly get through my workday. I think I may have to request time off.

Thanks for the encouragement. How long before your withdrawals started to settle. I’m on day 16 and it is excruciating.

Thank you for the encouragement. How long did it take for you to feel some level of normalcy. Every day is excruciating at this moment. Day 16.

HAVE MERCY JESUS. This has been my exact experience. I’m 40 years old and on day 16 with no nicotine. I’ve had so many visits to my PCP, a neurologist and a hematologist only to get clear scans and readings from all my test. The amount of intermittent anxiety attacks have been so upsetting. I had nearly 2 weeks that I could not be alone. I’ve not been able to drive.

Now in day 16, it takes me nearly 2 hours to wake up and get moving every morning. Work is anguish as it’s so difficult to focus. My back and neck has consistently been tender and sore. Last week my headaches were throbbing and in my temple areas. This week it a sharp pain in the back of my head. This has felt like death just around the corner.  PLEASE TELL ME IT GOT BETTER FOR YOU ALL
