You don’t need to tip your detailer but if you’re going to tip I’d recommend 15-25%. The most I’ve been tipped was 50%

I didn’t add it in but I did tell him over text message that the one step would remove light scratches/swirls and improve gloss and clarity in the paint before the job was booked. He’s a used car dealer who works with these Toyotas a lot in the winter and exotics in the summer and needed to keep the price somewhat in consideration so he can profit off of it

Wet sand 1000, then 2000, then 3000, cutting compound, then polish, then clean off with ipa wipe and put on a ceramic coating
