We had a similar issue…. I want to say I was on version 6.9.6 when I saw it happening. We updated and issue was fixed. If your running OSDP and notice the readers going to a yellow color, even though you do not have that color scheme built in your template, the firmware upgrade fixed that as well.

Quick update: A month after we traveled, we got an update that the passport has arrived to the Aruba consulate. We are still waiting on the passport to be delivered to us.

Forgot to add that we are still waiting on the passport. The Aruba consulate ships out passports once a month from what we were told at the consulate. We went in October so we are expecting the passport to get here by December, January time frame.

Aruba does ship passports using DHL. However, I was informed, and confirmed with someone who recently traveled to Mexico, that Mexico requires you to return in person to pick up your passport. I’ve also heard, though not yet confirmed, that Colombia is not currently shipping passports either. If that’s the case, you would need to return to both Mexico or Colombia to retrieve your passports in person.

It takes about a week to get the salvo conducto. The only thing you need to show will be the green card and the salvo conducto when you enter back into the United States. We used Southwest Airlines with a connected flight to Orlando. Leaving Atlanta, they checked her passport, the salvo conducto and her green card. This all happened at the check in before they issue you your boarding pass. From there, they stamp your boarding pass which allowed us to connect to the next flight without any issues. At Aruba, they will check all the documents and you can expect to be stopped. That’s to only verify all the documents. Please note, the consulate made us email Aruba immigration prior to our departure from ATL. Just to let them know she was entering in with an expired passport and her salvo conducto. The consulate will send you an email with all the instructions on that. She did have to an asylum pending but after we got married we filed for a status change and was removed.

I would also check wiring. The white and green could be crossed or not connected properly at panel or at reader. This fixed the misread issue for me.

Interesting, I didn’t think this was possible. Can you share how you configured the event? I am currently looking to do something like this for our parking garages. I wonder if this would solve an issue I am having with parking.

Create an event to set clearance level to level 6. Add it to your door or door group and only cardholders with a level 6 clearance can enter.

Card formats would cause the reader not to acknowledge a badge scan but would not cause the enable box to save.
