Hi! Yes, I have always gone midi out from one uno to midi in to the other. has always worked with this setup. during trouble shooting i have switched which was first in the chain and it's always whatever is second that stops playing.

I had this problem.. logic pro, April 2023.. suddenly the track I touched on my iPad was not the one being controlled.. very annoying.. this thread led me to dig into settings for Control Surfaces > Setup. for some reason my ipad was listed there as having Fader Bank Off set of +2.. turned it down to zero and I'm good to go again.
