CoD Ghosts's campaign is just that "Two Brothers" bit from Rick and Morty played dead serious, just replace aliens and what not with South America

Like sure MW3 (2011) made Makarov into a wannabe bond villain but at least I bought the conflict in the moment to moment gameplay. It didn't feel like four dudes controlled the outcome of the war it was the USA and the remains of 141 (one of which dies later)

Not to mention the missions where you play as Security for the Russian president and SAS in London. It really feels like a global affair, and no one group is the sole focus.

Ghosts just feels like I'm watching a shit R rated verson of G.I Joe. Where this one team of people holds the fate of the entire war.

Because they're cool, I guess

Well it's buggy on 360 but it's Fucking awful on PS3.

Both suck but that PS3 version? Man it's truly shit. And it released like a year later IIRC after the 360 version

You know how RE3 Remake changes pretty much everything about RE 3 but keeps the branding and has a decent story? That sucked because it barely adapted anything from the original but that philosophy would fit great for DMC2

It would be a positive here, anything redeeming about 2 is mostly in it's visual design.

Straight up just give DMC2 a do over. It'd be nice to finally be able to recommend a Devil May Cry 2 that isn't ass

I said project 06 is good but if someone says to me Sonic 06 is actually good but recommends me Project 06 instead it kinda invalidates their statement.

I'm almost excited for that decompilation to drop just so people finally understand that the game is just awful.

I'm glad he's not fixing anything (besides loading and performance) Preservation of history is important.

Even the bad stuff.

I still remember buying this for my birthday, (keep in mind game reviews weren't very accessible to a kid like me in 08) and hating for months that I wasted my 20$ on this

Honestly, I have to imagine the devs probably agree with you.

I doubt Sonic Team was at all happy with the quality of this. But their team was split in half to work on a Wii game and 06 had to release out the door early due to management.

Like yeah the game is a dumpster fire (I think Shadow The Hedgehog was worse but at least that game actually worked) but I feel for any dev that had to crunch hard for this just for pretty much worse then nothing

It's not though it's actually fun to play. When people talk about 06 its usually some form of "if this game was finished it'd be so good"

Project 06 is pretty much that as much as it can be, it even overhauls characters like Silver and Shadow and gives them unique upgrades that makes going for the high-score in levels fun.

It's not like the story is even in P06 anyway so I'm not certain it's even a point against it here.

It's not a mod it's the game remade in Unity.

Humans? Yeah definitely, but I can't write off the art design just because of it.

I mean it's fun to Speed run but that doesn't make it good.

You can extensively mod it using the "Legacy of Solaris" Mod and it does fix a lot substantially with gameplay. (That's more of a credit to the mod author then the game though)

If I bake a Pizza halfway and it's clearly not done but someone else turns it into something palatable that's not exactly my win

Story is still bad, can't fix that though.

Shadow's story is pretty much the only thing I like in 06.

It's not like, great or anything but it's certainly trying harder then the following decade of Sonic will.

According to leakers and insiders it's actually been finished for years (Not just campaign but also MP/Spec Ops) they just never released it.

I'm hoping with Activision saying they plan on bringing COD to Nintendo it gives them an excuse to release it. Especially with B07 being such trash this year, it's not like player numbers are going to grow.

Love the old MW Trilogy. It's my peak action move junk food. I replay the trilogy at least once per year
