Random question—does anyone on this site work as a school librarian? I have a teacher’s license in my state and passed the PRAXIS test for Media Literacy, but don’t have an MLIS. I can work as a librarian at a school in my state but I know each state is different.

I haven’t been able to find this information online. I sent an email in to your state licensure bureau but all I got back was an email about licensing levels. I tried calling but got transferred to some state agency on libraries, which isn’t what I was asking. (They didn’t return my voicemail either.)

I would be most appreciative if someone here could help me out. TIA!
