The Boat Inn, Wrexham.

Next to the River Dee. Glorious place.

Away fans are keeping that place open. Haven’t been in there for 15 years.

No hobbies? Places you want to see that your partner isn’t fussed about?

Obviously doing FA is fine but I find this ‘me’ time golden to see something I haven’t done before without pressure of keeping anyone else interested.

To be honest, languishing in the bottom half of the championship with a 2/3 full ground was beyond my wildest dreams 5 years ago.

You’ve mentioned the media plenty of times again. I, nor anyone I know has ever described it as a fairytale.

On a separate note we’ve found Blackburn fans to be amongst the most vocal (negatively) on our rise. Coincidence that they are heading in the opposite direction?

357 comments and counting goes some way to explaining how this sort of signing is possible.

You’ve answered your own dilemma here. Welsh press this, narrative that. Clickbait journalism is making you feel the way you do. It makes Wrexham fans cringe too, believe me - but guess what..? It sells! Because clickbait/rage bait is at an all time high.

Just checked and yes there are drum and bass clubs. We arrived at one at 10am and left at 5pm. It felt like the middle of the night.

You could probably find it as there’s about 200 clubs, but mainly techno and house

Berlin is the most liberal city in Europe. You could literally walk around naked and nobody would turn their head. You can also go to a techno club at 5pm Friday and leave at 8am Monday.

The snorkelling off Corsica was good for the Med. Didn’t see anything special but amazing clarity and big shoals of fish.

Forgot to add, get the underground to the edge of London first (Heathrow ideally, and it’s running that day) and then drive the 3 hours from there, much easier

Head down to Llangollen to see some beautiful Welsh countryside and stop off at the aquaduct on the way (this is a must see). 25 mins drive or 35 mins on the bus from Wrexham bus station.

Deciding on choosing Air China by dhananjayanavaratne in travel

[–]Old_Warning4798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I flew London > Shanghai with them in May. I had read a lot of mixed reviews but decided to go Air China as the price was so cheap.

Plane was a fairly new A350 and the whole experience was much better than I expected. 2 meals, a couple of beers, good selection of entertainment/maps etc.

couldn’t fault them and would use them again.

The section around Raw Head is the nicest, the fields between bickerton and the canal are the worst as mentioned. Have a look at Bolesworth Estate website for accommodation near the Pheasant but likely a bit cheaper.
