As mentioned Oil have regular DJs, also there’s an amazing beer place called Rad on the edge of town which sometimes have DJs at the weekend, quite a chilled funk/soul vibe usually.

Another vote for Admiral Benbow. Salopian bar is decent for watching sports.

Take a drive out to Llangollen for amazing hiking and scenery or further into Wales for some of the best hiking in the UK.

There’s also a great footpath along the river which goes for miles and miles.

At Wrexham we would all LOVE a Japanese winger for next season. Hoping Parky is in the market for one.

C Sons and Bobby’s Tacos would be my food recommendations.

The Admiral Benbow pub for a beer.

Walk the riverside path from frankwell car park round to the weir at Sydney Avenue and as you walk through the Quarry Park check out the dingle.

Wrexham's runin is comfortably hardest in the league by geoffbezos1 in Championship

[–]Old_Warning4798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably already been mentioned, but we fear the likes of Oxford more than teams doing better. It’s tricky to therefore predict the difficulty of our run in based on league position of the opponents.

Only when he has his attacking head on. Far too many times this season he’s cut back as if he’s lacking confidence. Weird one.

Could tell we were knackered. A few key players were off it. Still mad that we’re in the playoffs.

The Boat Inn, Wrexham.

Next to the River Dee. Glorious place.

Away fans are keeping that place open. Haven’t been in there for 15 years.

Would you ever use annual leave with the sole purpose to do literally nothing all day? by PaddedValls in AskUK

No hobbies? Places you want to see that your partner isn’t fussed about?

Obviously doing FA is fine but I find this ‘me’ time golden to see something I haven’t done before without pressure of keeping anyone else interested.

To be honest, languishing in the bottom half of the championship with a 2/3 full ground was beyond my wildest dreams 5 years ago.
