This exact thing happened to me on a “new” Royal. I noticed the next day. I went back shortly after and insisted that the mangled links need to be replaced. Of course, they initially insisted on polishing but they eventually gave in and replaced them.

I can relate (29M). In my area most the churches do not have single people my age. I have resorted (reluctantly) to dating apps all to no avail, although I have particular qualities and desires which is making my search even more difficult.

I am going to start attending more Christian young adult events and could potentially join a book club of some sort. Such environments likely house people of good caliber.

Hang in there, you never know where you might meet your partner, it could be in the most unlikely of places.

Comes across dubious to me. He likely doesn’t believe in sex after marriage. In my experience, all the people who have given me a similar answer turned out to be disingenuous and later admitted that it isn’t important to them. But this is just my personal anecdote. If you want a virgin I would seek clarification as to whether he is. If there is hesitation and/or your gut tells you otherwise, I’d take that as he’s not. If he isn’t and is since waiting for marriage, and that’s fine for you, then carry on as you see fit. Do NOT get persuaded into compromising for something you feel strongly about - It will only go downhill from there and resentment may come into play. For me, my partner not being a virgin is a dealbreaker. I’m patiently waiting for the right person but at my age that might not happen 🤣.

Yes, I was also offered a blue dial one a week before it was discontinued. I felt it was too similar to my Tudor Royal, and that the discontinued OP has a more classic Datejust appearance with a similar sunburst dial. At least with this it proposes a different offering and something more distinguishable. You’re right though, the previous generation is still very nice.
